Seven Wonders of Wales

The bells are famous for their purity of tone, which was probably why our unknown poet included them in the seven wonders.  The church of All Saints in Gresford which houses the bells also has some of the stained glass windows from the ruins of Basingwerk Abbey in Holywell which was dissolved by Henry VIII.  Location Map
